Well, it's over and done with. I had the injection in my knee today. They gave me Synvisc. This is the up to 6 months shot. If all goes well, I should have relative ease in walking and moving in my knee.
It hurt going in just like any other injection (and hurts like hell). Right now my knee is stiff and aches, so I'm going easy today per doc's instructions.
There will be no workout today. I will do some stretching, but I'm holding off on the hard core stuff.
Additionally, I'm sick as a dog, so that doesn't help matters.
SO much for having a productive 3rd week.
Check back later for updates.....
This blog originally was created to document my weight loss struggle and my considering gastric bypass surgery to doing it on my own. Through the years it's turned into my struggle of being healthier while I struggle with Fibromyalgia, severe arthritis, depression, & just dealing with life. My thoughts, feelings, ramblings on this fight to become healthier.

2016 already?
Hey. Those of you who know me personally, know it was a bad few months for me.
I got sick in the middle of December, right before Christmas. It started with an ear infection, pink eye, & upper respiratory infection. It ended with severe bronchitis. I was at the doctor 5 different times --all related to this.
This is the first week I've not been hacking. Just over 6 weeks of fighting to breathe normally. There was NO working out. Well, except for my morning stretches that I started after PT.
So, I'm starting to feel better enough to start walking or working out and well Murphy showed up again.
Monday while taking the dogs (which includes a new puppy out) shortly after snowing, I slipped and fell on my back. Not even 5 mins later, attempting to clean up after one of the girls, I fell again and landed on my back a second time.
I'm paying for it now.
So really, that's all I have right now. One of these days I hope to be healthy enough to get back to walking.
